Located on Station Road in the pretty historic town of Hertford, is this charming, character-filled pub.
Mad Squirrel Hertford is a combination of traditional and contemporary, with a cozy interior and relaxing outdoor seating area. It boasts a great selection of Mad Squirrel and guest beers, and a range of other drinks ensuring it can cater for all. The kitchen serves food, featuring our fantastic Smash Burgers made from 100% steak chuck, sourced locally. We also offering a range of small plates and sides, which go incredibly well with our extensive range of Mad Squirrel craft beers and beverages, which include a range of high-quality estate bottled wines, premium spirits, and amazing cocktails

Mad Squirrel beers
Our bar has 14 taps and 3 casks, so there’s plenty to choose from! We have an extensive selection of Mad Squirrel beers available at the bar and in cans for drinking in or taking away, all brewed locally in Potten End, Hertfordshire.
Choose from the established favourites in our Core Range or explore the Limited Release beers that are continually on rotation. There’s always something new in, so there’s always a reason to visit. Can’t get into the taproom but craving our beer? You can order our beer online, direct from the Brewery.
Food & drink
As good as the beer is, it’s certainly not all about the beer! We have a fully stocked bar serving ciders, wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks.
We also have a great food menu which focuses on high quality fresh ingredients, handmade in our kitchens to order. Why not try our fantastic Smash Burgers made from 100% steak chuck, sourced from Godden Butchers a family business since the 1940’s. We also offer wings and a range of small plates and sides.
